The Buffs, Royal East Kent Regiment Museum Collection
Orginating in Tudor times, The Buffs (East Kent Regiment) is one of the oldest in the British army, named after the creamy-brown colour of much of its uniform. On display is a range of items from Napoleonic times to the Boer War, when The Buffs were involved in a succession of battles in defence of British interests and the emerging British Empire.
