The Military Intelligence Museum

The Military Intelligence Museum exists to ‘Share the Secret’, bringing the shadowy world of military intelligence out into the open for everyone to see. Our displays cover the modern era, tracing our activities from the Boer War up to modern times. We are open to the public by appointment, and we offer guided tours around the museum.

Our collection covers a wide range of eras and organisations. Included in our extensive collection we have information about BRIXMIS, RAF Medmenham, United States Air Force, and the Intelligence Corps.

As a working military base, visitors must book in advance when wishing to visit the museum, and they can have either a guided tour, or enjoy the museum in their own time.

Entry Charges

Entrance is free but donations welcome.

 
  • Opening Hours

    Visitors are very welcome. However, because the museum is located on a working military unit, all visits are by appointment only. Once a visit is arranged, visitors are required to bring a valid passport or current UK driving license with them and book in at the guardroom from where they will be escorted to the museum.

    Tuesday: 10.30 to 13.30
    Wednesday: 10.30 to 13.30
    Thursday: 10.30-13.30
    Friday: 10.30-13.30
    Saturday: Closed
    Sunday: Closed

    The museum will be closed from the 5th December to the 6th March for curatorial purposes.
